Listen to Calvin Harris’ Remix of Sza’s ‘the Weekend’
Your favorite pregame song now has a funky remix to it.
Sza has had probably one of the greatest years for a new artist with five Grammy nominations and making the Forbes list for 30 Under 30. To end the year off, her Grammy-nominated single “The Weekend,” now has a Calvin Harris remix.
Harris who is a highly celebrated EDM DJ has remixed this single to give it the funky wave we all love. Recently he released a new album titled “Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1,” it is no surprise the sound he brings to this song. In the remix, you can hear the original layout of the song with a bouncy beat added. Though it is the holiday season, this song gives off a summer vibe with the special features and Harris sound.
Besides the remix, fans are still waiting for the release of the music video that is expected to be directed by Solange. We are excited about everything Sza brings and we hope to see the music video soon. Until then we are able to reminisce about some good summer vibes with the Harris remix.
