Chance The Rapper + Jeremih Are Releasing An Album Version of Their Christmas Mixtape

Chance The Rapper and Jeremih are re-releasing their Christmas mixtape but as a full album.

Last year, Chance The Rapper and Jeremih released a Christmas mixtape called “Merry Christmas Lil  Mama” which featured nine songs that relate to the holiday season. It was also released three days before Christmas.  This year, Chance teased a release of the same mixtape but featuring new songs. It’s currently unknown when this album will be released and how many additional songs will be added to the album.

Recently, a promo was released on Chance’s Instagram mimicking an old-school television promo. The promo feels like a 90s CD commercial complete with baritone narrator, bright graphics and a grainy picture that feels like it was made with a camcorder. It featured titles of some of the new songs. They include “Big Kid Again” and “Down With Dat”.

The post of the video was captioned “Me and @jeremih quietly made a free Chicago Christmas SoundCloud project last year and it was so fun we just ran it back #merrychristmaslilmama will be available EVERYWHERE next week wit a gang of new altxmas bangerz. Shout Common & Lena Waithe for playing new drums on every track on this project.”
