‘A Christmas Story’ Will Premiere Live on Fox

The classic “A Christmas Story” film will be premiered live on FOX this holiday spirit

The classic film has been remade into a musical which will be re-aired live on December 17th at 7/6c. For this event, there will be music composed by “Dear Evan Hansen” Oscar-winning songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. The premiere of this event will feature stars like Matthew Broderick (the narrator) and Maya Rudolph (Ralphie’s mom).

The film is a classic that many people grew up watching and have shared with their own children.

The film first premiered in 1983. Since it’s premiere, the film has gotten very popular and is aired a lot around the holiday season, even being the subject of an event called “24 hours of ‘ A Christmas Story.’

The event started in 1997 and has continued ever since. The film is about how a boy wishes for a BB gun and the story is narrated by his adult self.

In 2000, a stage adaption was made and in 2012 a musical version was created and premiered on Broadway.
