Black Thought just came through with the bars when he freestyled on Hot 97’s Funk Flex Show.He really needs no introduction. Thought is the co-founder of the Roots. Oh, just one of the GREATEST hip-hop acts of all time. The Roots are one of the best live bands of any genre, spanning three decades. They became a household name when they landed the gig as the house band on Jimmy Fallon. Black Thought — aka Tariq Luqmaan Trotter — is The Roots lead MC.
