Billy Bush Speaks About the ‘Access Hollywood’ Tape

The one time NBC news anchor confirms that the individual on the infamous tape is indeed President Trump.

While Trump confessed that it was him on the tape saying, “grab them by the p***y,” even mentioning it during one of the presidential debate (referring to the comment as “locker room talk”), he started questioning the tape after the election. Trump believed the tape was possibly not authentic, The New York Times saying that Trump told another Republican that, “we don’t think that was my voice.”

However, Bush told the newspaper in the op-ed that it was Trump. He wrote, “Of course he said it. And we laughed along, without a single doubt that this was hypothetical hot air from America’s highest-rated bloviator. Along with Donald Trump and me, there were seven other guys present on the bus at the time, and every single one of us assumed we were listening to a crass standup act.”

Bush also discussed in the op-ed that he has no reason not to believe women that have come out the last few months with accusations of sexual assault, writing, ” I will never know the fear you felt or the frustration of being summarily dismissed and called a liar, but I do know a lot about the anguish of being inexorably linked to Donald Trump. You have my respect and admiration. You are culture warriors at the forefront of necessary change.”

This op-ed, along with Trump’s official endorsement of pedophile Roy Moore, may just be the final nail in Trump’s reelection coffin. But with three more years left in his presidency, only time will tell.
