Chrissy Teigen + John Legend Are Expecting Baby Number Two

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are expecting another child.

Thirty-one-year-old model Chrissy Teigen announced that she and her husband John Legend are expecting baby number two. The lovely couple tied the knot back in 2013 and welcomed their first child, Luna Simone Stephens, in April of 2016. Luna helped with the announcement of the new baby on the way.

In an Instagram video posted to Chrissy’s account on Tuesday, she asked Luna, “What’s in here,” pointing to her stomach. She responds with “A BABY!”

Chrissy, being the jokester that she is, captioned the video with “It’s John’s!” referring to her husband. John responded to the post writing “Maury will have the final word on this,” referring to the Maury show starring Maury Povich.

John and Chrissy had their first child via in vitro fertilization (IVF)as they were having trouble conceiving. In an interview with InStyle Magazine, Chrissy shared that they originally had 20 embryos then narrowed it down to three based on a screening process and what would be good for Teigen’s body.

Regarding gender, Teigen responded to this on her Twitter stating, “Since this is coming up again, I said our next baby would be a boy because that is the embryo we have left. A boy. So. Yeah.”
