The holiday season is starting which means everyone is going home to be with friends and family, but traveling can be very stressful.

Traffic is going to be bad if you are driving and the airports are going to be bustling with people trying to catch their flights. You get to the point where you just want to snap your fingers and be there. The Harrisburg International Airport thinks they have a way to help lessen their travelers’ stress.

The solution is puppies. The day before Thanksgiving, Wednesday, November 22, the airport will have 18 puppies there for people to play with, cuddle and hug. The pups are coming from Susquehanna Service Dogs and will be at three separate locations within the airport. Even if you are not stressed, feel free to stop and play with a furry friend.

Who knows, maybe if this event is successful, you will start seeing puppies at every airport. Airports can be overwhelming and stressful regardless, having a stress reliever there on hand can go a long way to help individual’s mental health.
