Did you guys know that Aly and AJ are still making music?

In 2007 the sisters made “Potential Breakup Song” that resulted in many middle school girls dancing around with their friends in their bedrooms, singing along. It was probably the first time they realized that girls rule the world.

The duo was strictly sticking to acting there for a while. Aly plays Peyton Charles on iZombie and AJ plays Lainey Lewis on The Goldbergs. However, in 2016, Aly’s husband Stephen Ringer encouraged them to get back into music after seeing them sing and write around the house together.

The duo dropped a new single back in August, “Take Me,” off of their new EP Ten Years which has yet to be released. The single is upbeat and very catchy, and they recently released a remix. The two teamed up with Matthew Dear, an American music producer, DJ and electronic Avant-pop artist to create the remix. It is high anticipated by all of their fans. Aly and AJ posted on their Twitter about the remix and if you look at the replies you will see fans expressing their excitement about not only the remix, but the entire EP.

It has been 10 years since they last released music, 10 years too long and the people are ready.
