Celebs Take to Twitter to Express Their Condolences to Lil Peep

Lil Peep was a New York Rapper who could mix emo and rap perfectly. This past Wednesday night Peep was pronounced dead with the cause of death undetermined at the moment but is a suspected suicide. He has struggled with depression and drug use in the past. He tried to run from it, but he told Pitchfork that he finally realized it was himself, that he had a chemical imbalance in his brain.

Many celebrities are saddened by the passing of their friend, going to Twitter to show love. Juicy J, Lil B The BasedGod, Sam Smith, Charlie XCX, Diplo, Pete Wentz, Marshmellow and Post Malone is just a short list of them. Fans haven’t held back either, they are heartbroken and many of them are hoping this is a wake-up call to all that mental health is not a joke and should be taken seriously.

First Access Entertainment CEO Sarah Stennett says she has talked to his mother.

“she asked me to convey that she is very, very proud of him and everything he was able to achieve in his short life. She is truly grateful to the fans and the people who have supported and loved him,” she said in a statement.

RIP Lil Peep. You will be missed greatly.
