Lorde Will Perform at This Year’s ARIA Awards

The Australian Recording Industry Association Music Awards, or ARIA Awards, will be held on the 28th of November this year and will feature a lot of big name artists.
Being nominated or winning an ARIA creates a lot of excitement for artists as it boosts their market and gives them a wider platform to exude their musical talent.
Of the other performers taking the stage with Lorde include Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran, 5 Seconds of Summer, The Veronicas, and Vance Joy.
Besides international performances and being on tour for her latest “Melodrama” album, Lorde is also donating her shoes to charity. The program is called the “Small Steps Project” who grant emergency aid to people living on landfills and dump environments. It’s a non-profit organization who’s participants will benefit from an auction set up by Charity Stars, who aim to “dream big and create greater change for causes worldwide.”

My name is Kelsey Comeaux, I’m currently a Senior at McNeese State University, majoring in Mass Communications with a concentration in New Media. I’ve always had an interest in creative media arts as well as music (four years private piano lessons) and slightly self taught acoustic guitarist ;) I remember making movies on my dad’s “Windows Movie Maker” growing up and showing them to my friends and family. Other than that, I love sports and am naturally a competitive spirit. I love to go running for fun, as weird as that sounds; it’s such a great release for me during stressful times. I also enjoy writing, short fiction is my expertise, as well as reading various novels mostly consisting of Science Fiction and Romance. Anything dealing with an adrenaline rush involving the outdoors I’m game for. I’m here to explore, love wildly, feel passionately, and have diligence deriving from the soul.
