Gucci Mane announced that he got a $10 million dollar extension from Atlantic Records.

Back in September, rapper Gucci Mane said that once his deal was up with Atlantic Records, he was going to become 100% independent. He even said that he would release a mixtape every other day in 2018. However, it doesn’t look like that is going to happen anytime soon.

On Wednesday, November 8, Gucci tweeted out “Thank You @AtlanticRecords for the 10 million dollar extension #ELGATOTheHumanGlacier I appreciate It sincerely.”

So it seems like Gucci will be staying with Atlantic Records for a while after all.

His newly released album Mr. Davis was wildly successful and featured appearances from some of today’s top artists such as Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, The Weekend, and Ty Dolla $ign. The album even earned a spot on the Billboard 200 list just the first week it released. Mr. Davis also sold over 700,000 in it’s opening week.
