Niall Horan Signs With Wilhelmina Modeling Agency
Is Niall Horan coming to a runway near you?Thanks to the New York based Wilhelmina modeling agency, this is a possibility for the Irish singer songwriter. Founded by the Dutch model Wilhelmina Cooper and her husband Bruce 50 years ago, the agency’s clients include brands like Roberto Cavalli and MAC cosmetics.
Wilhelmina began its artist recruitment program back in 2012, connecting big names in the entertainment industry with international brands. Some artists turned models also represented by the agency are Nicki Minaj, Machine Gun Kelly, Nick Jonas, and Shawn Mendes.
When Vanity Fair asked Horan about his recent modeling contract, he was actually shocked by the proposal. “I wouldn’t say I was a model. I’m far from that, but obviously Wilhelmina thinks different. It’s gonna be fun to see what happens. Now that it’s been put in front of me I’m just really excited about it to be honest.”
Niall’s good friend, Maren Morris, was also recently signed with Wilhelmina as well. For those that don’t know, Morris was featured on Niall’s track “Seeing Blind.”
