Rihanna + Amal Clooney+ Donatella Versace to Host the 2018 Met Gala
Fashion forwad power trio to host the 2018 Met Gala. Need we say more?
Rihanna always slays the themes at the annual Met Gala, a fundraising gala that benefits the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City. Next year, however, she will be one of the hosts. Rihanna will be one of three hosts. She will work alongside Amal Clooney, a barrister and wife of George Clooney, and Donatella Versace, fashion designer and Vice President /Chief Designer of the Versace Group. An iconic trio, really.
The Met Gala is known as one of fashion’s biggest events. Next year’s theme is, “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.” Many celebrities tend to disregard the theme, but as mentioned Rihanna always sticks to it and kills it every year. It is only right that she will host this year.
The 2018 Met Gala will be held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City in April 2018. Make sure to keep an eye out and watch to see which celebs come through and of course, check out all the amazing outfits.
