Camilla Cabello up for Best Pop Artist at the EMA’s
Camila Cabello is gearing up for the MTV European Music Awards.
In anticipation of Camila’s debut album “The Hurting. The Healing, The Loving.” the MTV European Music Awards have nominated the singer in the category of “Best Pop.” Among those nominated are Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift, and Shawn Mendes.
The former Fifth Harmony member has had a breakout year with having hit collaborations like “Bad Things” with Machine Gun Kelly, “I Know What You Did Last Summer” with Shawn Mendes, and her now latest single “Havana” with American rapper Young Thug.
“Havana” has set a better tone for her album, which she details will be released in 2018. The first premiere single “Crying in the Club” was replaced and Camila stated the song will no longer be on the album.
With every nominee for the category also having an amazing year, it’s going to be a hard decision of the winner. Good luck to Camila!

My name is Kelsey Comeaux, I’m currently a Senior at McNeese State University, majoring in Mass Communications with a concentration in New Media. I’ve always had an interest in creative media arts as well as music (four years private piano lessons) and slightly self taught acoustic guitarist ;) I remember making movies on my dad’s “Windows Movie Maker” growing up and showing them to my friends and family. Building on emotion and presenting an important message through my projects was such a fulfilling experience. I hope to do that on a wider base one day.
Other than that, I love sports and am naturally a competitive spirit. I love to go running for fun, as weird as that sounds; it’s such a great release for me during stressful times. I also enjoy writing, short fiction is my expertise, as well as reading various novels mostly consisting of Science Fiction and Romance. Anything dealing with an adrenaline rush involving the outdoors I’m game for. I’m here to explore, love wildly, feel passionately, and have diligence deriving from the soul.
