Michelle Obama and Prince Harry surprise Chicago Public Schools with a visit.
Michelle Obama and Prince Harry surprised about 20 students of Hyde Park Academy on Chicago’s South Side. The Hyde Park Academy is right across the street from where the new Obama Presidential Center is going to be built.
Michelle, Harry, and the 20 students had a great conversation talking about how the new building will showcase the South Side of Chicago. They also discussed how it will serve as a great reminder to students to remain hopeful and inspired. She also helped them realize that using their voices could change the world.
Prince Harry joined the Obama’s during the Inaugural Summit of the Obama Foundation. He even opened up about his mother asking why people would treat her terribly after she did so many positive things. He shared that he now wants to use his platforms to normalize the discussion of mental health.
It is important to inspire us all and show us that even though you are young, your voices matter.
