Gossip Girl Turns Ten

Gossip Girl here, your one and only source into the scandalous live of Manhattan’s elite… ten years ago that is!

On September 19th, 2007, the world was graced with the gift that was Gossip Girl. There is no denying just how transformative the role was for fans and the actor involved.

Blake Lively, or the ever memorable style icon Serena Van Der Woodson, has moved on to marrying America’s funniest father Ryan Reynolds, having both of his children, and has gpne on to star in multiple films. It has since been revealed that Lively beat out Jennifer Lawrence for the role.

Leighton Meester, everyone’s favorite Queen B, and 1/2 of everyone’s favorite relationship, ended up marrying The O.C.‘s Adam Brody, the two having one child, focusing on motherhood.

Ed Westwick, who played everyone’s favorite Bad Boy Chuck Bass, went on to star as Tybalt in the 2013 remake of Romeo & Juliet before finally starring in the BBC’s White Gold, another Chuck Bass type role. Westwick has since admitted to never finding out who Gossip Girl was.

Penn Badgley, who was revealed as Gossip Girl, has only since made his return to television after being known for John Tucker Must Die and Easy A. In a recent interview, Badgley has finally accepted that Dan was Gossip Girl.

Since ending Gossip Girl, Chace Crawford has been less active but gone on star in baseball comedy Undrafted, while Taylor Momsen has focused on her music career since departing the role of Jenny Humphery.
