Don’t Worry, LeBron James is Just as Cheap as You Are

In an interview with ESPN, James has revealed himself to be “the cheapest guy in the NBA.” Since the NBA is coming back, it’s only natural that ESPN sits down with power duo LeBron James and reunited teammate Dwayne Wade. In total Wade fashion, he threw James underneath the bus when interviewer Rachel Nichols asked “who is the cheapest guy in the NBA?”

While James admitted to the argument holding some truth, the examples he gave after that lead us to believe that he’s just like the rest of us.

The first example given was how he relies on wifi everywhere he goes, which we cannot blame him on, especially since that data text is enough for families to fall apart. Then he admitted that he doesn’t believe in buying apps, which is honestly relatable times a thousand because anything more than zero cents in the App Store is too many cents more expensive than it needs to be.

James concludes with something everyone can relate to, stating that he still uses Pandora with the commercials. This was definitely interesting coming from the richest active player in the NBA.

Of course, the music listening app made no hesitation to reach out to the basketball player on Twitter, offering to hook him up with Pandora premium, which is honestly everyone’s current dream. Extremely rich and commercial free music on the house? Sign us up.
