SZA Stays Positive Through it All

SZA just recently became big on the music scene.

She dropped her debut album “Ctrl”, has collaborated with many big names like Kendrick Lamar and is now on her own nationwide tour.

SZA, whose real name is Solána Imani Rowe, grew up in a predominately white area. She was raised Muslim and was fifth in the nation as a gymnast when she was in high school. She is a woman who grew up with people making fun of her for her skin and religion, raised by a dad with strict beliefs rooted in the Muslim religion and failed college her freshman year.

She is now 26-years-old and after many years of hard work, the singer-songwriter is seeing success. What is so amazing is that she has not let it all go to her head. She is so positive all the time and is constantly replying on Twitter. She recently hosted a free pop up show in New York, apologizing to fans personally for when the police shut it down, limiting it to only 250 people. She even offered some tickets to her next show to those who didn’t get in.

The woman is an angel. She radiates love and positivity. SZA has advice for her fans.  She says hard work pays off, being comfortable is key and when Beyoncé is talking, you listen.
