Sunny Anderson Deletes Tweets Shaming Victims
Food Network host, Sunny Anderson deletes her victim-blaming tweets this morning after the public called her out for her insensitivity.
It seems many are chiming in on the recent sexual allegations against Harvey Weinstein. If you would like a running list of actresses who have accused the producer including Kate Beckinsale, Rosanna Arquette, Angelina Jolie and dozens more, you can view them here. While Woody Allen was quoted by the BBC and is trending today on twitter stating that he is “sad” for Weinstein, many find Sunny’s words insulting.
Sunny Anderson decided to victim-blame, stating she blames victims “for not being brave.”
Many of Harvy Weinstein’s victims have stated how they lived in fear of the producer and only now, have had the courage to come out.
Check out the tweets below, as well as Anderson’s since deleted tweets including one that states, women who come out about their abuse late, are not brave.
I’ve deleted my obviously polarizing & offensive statement. As a victim & warrior against sexual harassment in the work place, I apologize.

Remember, sexual assault is never your fault. #Metoo is currently trending to bring awareness to victims for sexual assault and celebs are chiming in on their experiences. Women like Gabrelle Union had the opposite to say when it comes to blaming the victim.
In Hollywood meetings in homes, hotel lobbies/restaurants/suites, private isolated office space is the norm. NO ONE “ASKED FOR IT!!”

Ppl remain silent 4 many different very personal reasons. Judgment, victim shaming/blaming, loss of job/$, fear of violence, retaliation
