He announced this opportunity through his Twitter account on Friday.

An Announcement From Chance the Rapper

Chicagoan, civic leader, and artist Chance the Rapper is curating a concert for the Obama Foundation Summit on November 1, 2017. And he’s bringing along some friends. Sign up for live stream updates: https://go.obama.org/page/s/summit-signup

The first Obama Foundation Summit after the two-day event wraps up on Wednesday, Nov. 1 in Chicago. In addition to Chance, the event will feature the National, Gloria Estefan, and “all Chance’s friends” that he can’t yet name. Those will be revealed at a later date.

In an article done by Pitchfork, Chance was made the head of the “creative design” of the event, which was described as “bringing together young leaders from across Chicago, the country, and the world to share ideas” by Obama Foundation CEO David Simas.  Simas also noted how he looks forward to joining leaders like Chance and Gloria Estefan in an event that inspires individuals to see themselves as change agents and celebrate a civic engagement.

The concert will be free, but not open to the public. However, that’s a different story if you live in Chicago. On their website, The Obama Foundation shared that they will be giving away 1,500 tickets to members and friends of the community who are engaged in the foundation.

For Chicagoans specifically, they’ll be distributing 700 tickets to those who have participated in the foundation through their call and response on their website as well as applied to attend the summit. If you want to watch this concert but won’t be able to make it live, they might be live streaming it through their website via live stream.
