Louis Tomlinson Releases “Just Like You”
The former member of One Direction and “Back to You” singer released his latest song “Just Like You” yesterday in the UK.
This will be the third song Tomlinson has released since his band went on a hiatus back in 2016. He has taken an electronic vibe approach to his solo act, already collaborating with Steven Aoki and Bebe Rexha on his previous releases.
Tomlinson took to Twitter on Wednesday, letting his fans know that “Just Like You” was a song he especially wanted to release, saying that it conceptually “sums me up well!”

The song depicts Tomlinson as the average 20-something-year-old he is, minus his career. He reminds his listener that just like someone not in the spotlight, he deals with heartache and rough times just the same. As many of you may remember, Tomlinson lost his mother late last year to cancer.
He sings, “Same stress, same sh*t to go through/ I’m just like you, if you only knew.” Tomlinson is not immune to the same stressors of life, regardless of his status.
