Joe Biden Urges Men in Hollywood To Look Out For Predator Behavior
The former vice president is looking for change within Hollywood industry.
With the recent allegations regarding Harvey Weinstein, Joe Biden had a few words for him and the men in the industry. Weinstein, a movie mogul, has been accused of sexual misconduct. Biden spoke out against him and deemed his actions as horrifying and applauded his departure as he stated: “This disgusting behavior, at least on the part of Harvey Weinstein, has been brought to an abrupt and justifiable end.”
Joe Biden is known activist for women’s rights while promoting women’s safety and the progression of their rights. He has given a solution for how to help combat the sexual harassment women face in Hollywood. Biden would like for men to stand up and help fight against this as he states: “But it’s long past time for the powerful men in Hollywood to speak up, to be strong enough to say something because silence is complicity.” Though women can protect themselves, it is helpful to have allies trying to look out for us in this big business.
