Kehlani Releases A Sweet New Track

Kehlani has released a new track called “Honey”

The track is a stripped acoustic pop version compared to many of her other tunes and is sung like a ballad. The song is an ode to her girls as she is bisexual. It’s been a while since Kehlani has released any new music as she’s been busy with her SweetSexySavage tour.

This album came out recently and hadn’t had much time to get any lead time. Because of this, there haven’t been any major announcements about a new project, but Kehlani has always been low-key about announcing new albums.

The song is based around a mellow, acoustic guitar loop. While the song is an ode to all girls in the world, there’s also mention of her insecurity and fragile confidence. She calls herself a “colorful mess” and a “beautiful wreck” but assures us she’s funny.

She’s released a few hints about the track on her Instagram such as her orange suit photo shoot which she shared pictures from as well as a post which hinted at the song’s title. Her hand was drizzling with honey. Due to the buzzing positive responses she got from her fans, the song was posted the next day.
