Ibeyi’s Single “Deathless” Will Make You Feel Invincible

Twin sisters Lisa-Kainde and Naomi Diaz of Ibeyi, have released a politically-charged new single “Deathless” that’ll make you feel powerful.

French-Cuban twins, Lisa-Kainde and Naomi Diaz, form the musical duo Ibeyi. The story behind their new single from their second album, “Ash,” has a story that you want to hear. After Lisa was wrongly arrested at the age of 16 in France, the duo decided to write a song about the experience.

The sisters’ goal was to spark conversation about something that happens to minorities everywhere. They just did it in a super creative and beautiful way. The song features famous jazz saxophonist Kamasi Washington and has an elegantly simple music video. Check it out!
