Candace Parker Shows off Daughter on Instagram
Candace Parker has won many awards and honors such as All-WNBA Team, WNBA MVP Award, and the Best Female Athlete ESPY Award.
She is not only an outstanding basketball player, she is a loving mother as well. She has one daughter, 8-year-old Lailaa Nicole Williams.
Parker took to Instagram story after losing to the Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA Championship to show the world the sweetest note from Lailaa. It has pictures of cute little puppies with the words “I love you, mommy. I am sorry that you lost” typed at the top. How precious.
On a recent Instagram post was also a shout out to her daughter or her biggest fan as she says in the caption. It reads “My BIGGEST fan…. literally LOVE how confident, loving, and unapologetically YOU you are… PLEASE keep shining…. you are my Inspiration. #AndSheDabbedOnSportsCenter.”
Parker looks up to her daughter’s energy, curiosity and big heart just as Lailaa looks up to her. Even though both her parents play professional basketball, Parker says she doesn’t care if she plays any sports long as she grows up to be a strong, educated, kind, giving, and confident African-American woman.
