Season 2 of “Riverdale” Premieres Soon
The newest season of Riverdale airs October 11.

The series based off the Archie Comic books has already had a successful season 1 which premiered Fall of last year. While the show does contain the same characters as in the comics, they are changed slightly to fit the show’s mysterious nature. While there were mixed reviews of the changes made when the show first aired, it seems to be a thing of the past as fans love the show the way it is.

There have been many trailers and spoilers given about the new season. One is that Betty will have an older brother in addition to her older sister, Polly, who got pregnant last season. Alice Cooper, Betty and Polly’s mother, did mention that she had a son she had given up for adoption. This son/brother will be revealed halfway through the season as sources reveal. It seems like this new addition to the Cooper family will shake up their supportive dynamic .
At the end of Season 1, we also see Jughead accept a jacket from the Serpents thus becoming a part of their gang. From an interview Cole Sprouse gave, we hear that in the new season Jughead goes down the rabbit hole and becomes more damaged and angrier than he was in the first season and also ends up having to suffer for distancing himself from his friends.
