Kathleen Lights Releases Nail Polish Dedicated to Great Cause
This famous YouTube star’s nail polish is going to be your new fall favorite
Released Wednesday is a new limited edition nail polish created by Lights and dedicated to her grandmother who passed away from breast cancer in 2014. The plush pink polish relates to the symbolic pink color that’s associated with breast cancer awareness.
The new polish entitled “Mami Martha” will be available all month in correlation with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and all profits will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. In a sweet tribute to her grandmother, Kathleen writes on Instagram:
“In 2014, I lost my grandma to Breast Cancer. It was an ugly fight & watching a loved one deal with Cancer is incredibly hard and devastating… I wanted to honor her this month so I have released this beautiful pink polish called Mami Martha, after my amazing grandmother.”
The nail polish line titled KL Polish is a cruelty free line and features other vibrant colors including Caramello, a perfect caramel color for this fall season, and Wishbone, a pastel lilac that screams feminine allure.

My name is Kelsey Comeaux, I’m currently a Senior at McNeese State University, majoring in Mass Communications with a concentration in New Media. I’ve always had an interest in creative media arts as well as music (four years private piano lessons) and slightly self taught acoustic guitarist ;) I remember making movies on my dad’s “Windows Movie Maker” growing up and showing them to my friends and family. Other than that, I love sports and am naturally a competitive spirit. I love to go running for fun, as weird as that sounds; it’s such a great release for me during stressful times. I also enjoy writing, short fiction is my expertise, as well as reading various novels mostly consisting of Science Fiction and Romance. Anything dealing with an adrenaline rush involving the outdoors I’m game for. I’m here to explore, love wildly, feel passionately, and have diligence deriving from the soul.
