Cara Delevingne Releases Her First Novel
Her book, “Mirror Mirror” dropped today in the UK, and is still available for preorder in the US.The model turned actress’ debut book discusses parts of life that many of her fans may be experiencing, through the story of four, 16 year old girls.
Delevingne in her own words described the novel as, “a story about friendship, identity and the fact that appearances can be deceiving.”
The book discusses many struggles that Delevingne herself has dealt with. Connected to celebrities like Harry Styles and songstress St. Vincent, she likes to refer to her sexuality as “fluid,” saying back in 2016 during an interview that everyone is “liquid” as we continue to grow and change.
She has also spoken out about her past with anxiety and depression and a time where she contemplated taking her own life. Looking at where Cara is now and the strength she has had to speak of her own struggles, she seems to be at a much better place in her life. It is inspiring to see the star taking the time to reach out to teens during a time of life marked by constant change.
