Criminal Minds Returns For Its 13th Season on CBS

Wine down Wednesday just got ten times better!

The criminal based drama, Criminal Minds, is entering its thirteenth season on CBS. Following the lives and crimes worked by the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit, the beloved show left its fans begging for more at the end of season twelve.

The season finale showed the SUVs of the BAU being plowed into by an unknown driver, many fans suspecting the job being the handy work of the “unsub” known as Mr. Scratch.

Back on the 11th of this month, the official twitter for the show released a 35 second teaser, where fans could clearly see a body covered by a white sheet being taken away from the accident. It is unclear whether it was one of the BAU’s own, or the driver of the truck that hit them.

Actors from the show have given fans plenty to talk about during the show’s offseason though. Earlier this year it was unclear if Kirsten Vangness (Penelope Garcia) and A.J Cook (Jennifer Jareau) were returning to the show, after demanding for equal pay as the men featured. The only star, other than the two women, that has been on the show since it began back in 2005 is Matthew Gray Gubler (Dr. Spencer Reid), who was being paid more than double of what his female costars were. ABC Studios and CBS, rightfully so, obliged to the women’s requests and were able to sign them for season 13.

We’re crossing our fingers and hoping the new season has been worth the wait! In the meantime, you can catch up on last season which is available on Netflix.
