Fergie Drops Two New Videos From ‘Double Dutchess’

One of the most prominent female voices in pop music history, Fergie, has released TWO music videos for her new visual album, “Double Dutchess.”

We’ve been waiting for what seems like forever. Good news, it is finally here. Fergie, an eight-time Grammy Award winner, has just dropped her second full-length album, Double Dutchess. Like Beyonce’s Lemonade, Fergie’s new album is a visual album experience. Today, she released two more  iconic music videos for her songs “Love is Blind” and “Love is Pain.”

“Love is Blind” is super intricate and awesome. It is an edgy, modern interpretation of stop motion. It begins with what looks like Ken and Barbie chilling by the poolside, but it escalates quickly. Ken walks away to flirt with other girls and things get ugly. You need to watch it, but let’s just say love definitely isn’t blind in this video.

“Love is Pain” was weird for different reasons, or at least it was certainly less violent. It definitely works though. First of all, Fergie looks AMAZING in this video. Throughout most of the video, Fergie is framed shoulders up with muted backgrounds only emphasizing her spot-on makeup and beautiful face. The video begins with Fergie behind a veil with a woman dancing on a pedestal, as the video progresses she reveals more of herself. It is stunning. The vocals in this song are crazy impressive and having the visual only intensifies the emotion. It goes from interpretive dancing statues to glitter showers, watch below.
