Chance The Rapper Premieres New Music On “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert”

Chance the Rapper premiered a new song while on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” last night.

Chance the Rapper enrolled the help of Daniel Caesar, a Canadian rapper, and R& B singer to debut a new song on the Late Night TV show. He wrote the song two days before his performance, and it is yet to get a title. This made his performance somewhat risky as it was on live TV, but he did not disappoint. In fact, he delivered the song effortlessly.

The new song resembles a spoken word put to music. It touches upon a lot of topics such as religion, fatherhood, social injustice and more. It’s currently unknown where this song is online, but hopefully, it’s a sign that Chance is now creating new music for an upcoming project.

While on Colbert’s show, he was asked questions relating to their Emmy collaboration, religion, his feelings about politics, running for mayor of Chicago, and Chicago Public Schools about his non-profit organization “Social Works.”

Originally, Chance was to perform his other unreleased song ‘Grown Ass Kid’ but was informed by Colbert’s producers to do a different piece. He chose to perform this new piece as he had previously performed his song ‘Angels’ from his ‘Coloring Book’ album before its release on Colbert’s show.

It seems that Chance made the right choice in performing his very new piece. Watch the video down below to see his performance.
