Zendaya Strives to Make a Difference

Zendaya is one of today’s most influential celebrities under 30.

If you look at any of Zendaya’s social media, you will see a very well-rounded, smart, kind, beautiful woman. Not only does she do makeup tutorials for all of us who are not so makeup-savvy, but she has also created her own shoe line and scored a CoverGirl contract. However, what makes the actress/singer the most influential is her work with charities and her stand to fight social injustice.

She supports at least seven charities and 10 other causes including the American Heart Association, PETA and UNICEF. The most recent issue she is taking a stand against and gaining support for is a documentary called “Without a Net: The Digital Divide in America.” Directed by Rory Kennedy and narrated by Jamie Foxx, it will give viewers a look at the difference in technology resources between well-funded and low-income schools.

“As the daughter of two teachers, this issue is so near and dear to me. Please watch and support this film on 9/26, at 10/9C on Nat Geo #closethedivide,” Zendaya posted to both social media accounts.

This is just a sneak peak. It does not even begin to cover everything the 21-year-old has done to help others and the amazing thing is, she is not even done yet.

Follow her on social media to stay updated.
