Maggie Rogers Releases “Split Stones”

Not long ago she was sitting in a masterclass with Pharrell Williams at NYU; now Maggie Rogers has dropped her fourth major song “Split Stones.”

Maggie’s video with Pharrell, so she may be familiar to you, but if not you have definitely heard her songs “On+Off,” “Dog Years,” and “Alaska.” Now, you have a new one to jam to called “Split Stones.”

Growing up on the eastern coast of Maryland, Rogers was exposed to folk music at a young age. She began playing the banjo and the harp, eventually taking her music to NYU’s Clive Davis School of Recorded Music. After a masterclass with Pharrell, her song “Alaska” took off and led us to “Split Stones.”

For “Split Stones,” Rogers teamed up with outdoor clothing brand The North Face for a new ad and music release. In the song, Rogers asked you to move. She asks to take action and forget the risks. You can check it out here.

There is no music video yet, but keep up with her on social media for more!
