Rihanna and Fenty Beauty had what one could call one of the most controversial and phenomenal beauty launches ever! The line released a whopping total of 40 shades of foundation. The world and beauty industry is buzzing about the perfection and newsworthiness this line has brought to all women and men who have faced struggles in finding the perfect foundation to match their skin tones.
The forty shades of foundations cater to individuals from those who have very pale skin to very dark skin, the lightest being 100 and the darkest being 490. The line also kept in mind that people have pink, yellow, orange and many other color undertones and that was certainly in mind when the foundations were being created. There is something for everyone because Rihanna is marketing to everyone. It has been described as being very light and has a soft matte feel.
Fenty Beauty also launched an array of Kilawatt Freestyle Highlighters, with some coming as double and one as a single commodity. Each has a fascinating name including: “Metal Moon,” “Lightning dust,” “Fire Crystal,” “Mean Money,” “Hu$tla Baby,” “Girl Next Door,” “Chic Phreak,” “Ginger Binge,” and “Moscow Mule.” The colors ranged from champagne to copper to peachy and shimmery.
One could argue that the highlighter in the shade #TROPHYWIFE could be the real highlight of the product launch as it has been making waves in the beauty industry. This #Killawatt highlighter is of a bright golden-yellow hue that when applied to the skin, it looks like golden glitter was scattered across the area to which the product was used. Or, it could look like naturally glowing sweat in the most beautiful way1
Surprisingly, Fenty Beauty only launched one lip product. It is a lip gloss called GLASS BOMB. It is described to be a universal gloss that fits anyone with any shade or color.
The line also launched a primer that makes facial pores smaller and brushes to get faces snatched. Women of darker skin tones, especially, have been the ones who have been raving about the products, especially the foundations. It has been a struggle for them to find makeup shades that hardly requires assistance when applied to the face. Now, Rihanna has definitely fixed some of the issues and everyone seems happy.
