Selena Gomez posted this picture on Instagram and captioned it, “So I found out I needed to get a kidney transplant due to my Lupus and was recovering… And finally, there aren’t words to describe how I can possibly thank my beautiful friend Francia Raisa. She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney to me. I am incredibly blessed.”
Francia Raisa is also an actress like Selena. She most recently has a guest role in Netflix’s “Dear White People,” and she also had a main role as Adrian Lee on “The Secret Life of the American Teenager.”
This picture was beautiful to see because you can see the genuine friendship between the two. It was amazing to see Selena’s friend do this for her because it gave her a chance to overcome Lupus. Francia also shared the photo on her Instagram and linked the picture to this tweet:
