Shawn Mendes Recalls Drake’s Bodyguard’s Not Recognizing Him
Shawn Mendes was a guest on “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, ” and he recalls a pretty amusing moment at the beginning of his career.
It’s clear to say that Shawn Mendes was still very much up-and-coming when this happened. He recalls a day when he touched rapper and singer, Drake, and the bodyguard pinned him to the ground.
Apparently, the bodyguard had no idea who Shawn was and confused him for a fan! You can see the clip from the Tonight Show in this tweet below:

We can only imagine the laughs and apologise that ensued after the incident. We’re also delighted Shawn didn’t get severely injured! While it is funny for Shawn to think back on now, it definitely seems like it must have been a scary position to be in at the time. We’re happy it worked out for the best!
