Will Smith Shows Off new Aladdin Cast

Will Smith and the Aladdin cast have finally come together to film the refilm a classic, Aladdin.

Smith snapped a on Facebook photo, along with the caption:

“We just started shooting Aladdin and I wanted to intro you guys to our new family…” Will Smith wrote on Facebook Wednesday “Mena Massoud/Aladdin, Naomi Scott/Princess Jasmine, Marwan Kenzari/Jafar, and I’m over here gettin my Genie on.”

Originally, Disney had a little difficulty with casting, but the Aladdin and Jasmine roles were quickly assigned. Will Smith was cast as Genie, and we later learned that Marwan Kenzari would take on the role of Jafar.

Massoud posted the photo as well over Twitter, adding, “Agrabah just got a lot hotter.” While there is no word yet regarding a release date for the movie,  we’ll have keep our eyes on the the Whole New World cast members until then!
