Sam Smith Announces New Music Is Coming Soon

Sam Smith announces that he has a new record coming soon after a year long hiatus.

Sam Smith took to Instagram to announce that he is working on new music for his fans. He has been on a hiatus for over a year now, and we all have been patiently waiting for new music since 2014.

On Instagram, Sam Smith wrote: “To my beautiful fans,

First of all I want to say thank you. Thank you for being so patient and for letting me have the past year to really escape into my mind & write music so freely. I feel so rejuvenated and have so many stories I can’t wait to tell you. I have missed you all desperately, and a day hasn’t gone by when I haven’t been looking at all your comments & dreaming of singing with you all again.

I have missed you all desperately, and a day hasn’t gone by when I haven’t been looking at all your comments & dreaming of singing with you all again.

The wait is so nearly over. Something is coming very very very very soon.

I am scared & excited at the same time. I’ve poured my soul and heart into this record.

Hopefully “very very very very soon” means in the next week or so. We are excited to hear this one and expect it to be something special after a year off.
