Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape Of You’ Hits Two Billion Views On YouTube

Ed Sheeran has reached a new milestone because he’s in love with the “Shape of You.”

Ed Sheeran’s hit song ‘Shape of You’ achieved a new milestone on August 6, 2017 when it became the 15th song to hit two billion views on YouTube, and it is also the most watched international video in India.

“Shape of You” was the second single from Divide, Ed Sheeran’s third studio album. It was released along with “Castle on the Hill”as the lead singles from the album in January 2017.

The dancehall-infused song was written by Ed Sheeran with the intention of having Rihanna’s vocal on the track. He, however, kept it for his album and it peaked at number one for ten weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. It also made history in Australia when it spent 14 weeks at number one on the charts.
