Will and Grace will be turning on September 28th on NBC, and fans cannot wait for the iconic quartet to grace our TV screens once again.

We all have to admit that the finale was pretty hard to get through. If you don’t remember, Will and Grace had a tumultuous fight that pretty much severed ties between the two of them. Sure, they reconciled, but they ended up going their separate ways until their children attended the same college.

Well, it seems like creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan came to their senses and realized how sad the final was because the revival is going to pretend the finale events never happened.

Kohan recently shared with Entertainment Weekly on their creative decision:

“When the decision was made to bring the series back, we were like, well, we left them with kids, right? And if they have children, then it has to be about them being parents, ‘cause presumably it would be a priority in their lives. And if it wasn’t a priority in their lives, then they’re still parents, they’re just bad parents, right? We frankly did not want to see them being either good parents or bad parents. We wanted them to be Will and Grace.”

September’s approaching soon, and we can’t wait to see hilarity ensue!
