A ‘Mean Girls’ Musical Is On Its Way


Watch out for the iconic Plastics this fall!

Tina Fey has done it again! She has finally adapted her original Mean Girls screenplay into a Broadway musical and a book. She wrote the iconic screenplay and also starred in the 2004 film. It is one of the most quoted movies today, and it is also a pop culture staple. How else would you know that “on Wednesday, [you] wear pink?”

The cast in order of appearance:

  • Taylor Louderman as Regina George
  • Ashley Park as Gretchen Wieners,
  • Kate Rockwell as Karen Smith
  • Erika Henningsen as Cady Heron,
  • Barret Wilbert Reed as Janis Ian
  • Kerry Butler as Ms. Norbury

It-actor Grey Henson will play the role of Damian, the “art freak” and Cady and Janis’ best friend. Aaron Samuel, Cady and Regina’s dream man, will be played by Kyle Selig.

Despite Gretchen’s many attempts to make “fetch” happen, it is still not a thing. But you may want to fetch some tickets before they disappear. The musical will kick-off on October 31, 2017 in Washington, D.C. and tickets are now available for purchase here.
