Amy Schumer Is The Only Woman To Make Forbes’ 2017 Highest-Paid Comedians List

2017-07-27 (1)

Amy Schumer is in it alone for another year.

The comedian remains the only female on Forbes‘ annual ranking of the top ten highest-paid comedians in the world for the second consecutive year. It was only one year ago that she became the first woman to ever make the list, where she came in fourth with an estimated annual income of $17 million.

This year’s rankings revealed that Schumer had once again made the cut, but dropped one spot. However she is making $20 million more than she id last year with an estimated annual income of $37.5 million.

Leading the brood is Jerry Seinfeld with $69 million, with Chris Rock, Louis C.K., Dave Chappelle and Schumer right behind.

The list also includes newcomer Sebastian Maniscalco, who earned $15 million at number ten. Kevin Hart and Jim Gaffigan rounded out the top ten. However it’s sad to see the lack of women on the list.

But congratulations to Schumer for showing the world that women have a stake in comedy, too.
