Angelica Hale Earns Golden Buzzer On ‘America’s Got Talent’

America’s Got Talent has recently been making headlines all due to an incredibly talented 9-year-old girl. Angelica Hale performed a stunning rendition of Alicia Keys’ “Girl on Fire,” and earned the Golden Buzzer, which allowed her to advance directly to the live rounds regardless of the other judges’ votes. This isn’t the first time Hale received praise. Earlier in the season, Hale performed Andra Day’s “Rise Up” and received a standing ovation.

Hale took to Twitter to express her gratefulness and surprise. According to Billboard Magazine, Hale survived a life threatening illness caused by a bacterial infection in her lungs. Her mother donated one of her kidneys to save Hale’s life. If her past obstacles are any indication of how Hale deals with challenges, she is a natural born fighter. There’s no doubt that she’ll make it to the top.
