Zendaya Is Starring In ‘The Greatest Showman’
If you weren’t already psyched about Zendaya’s role in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Zendaya recently shared she will be starring in upcoming film The Greatest Showman.
The Greatest Showman is inspired by P.T Barnum, the creator of his era’s most successful circus and popular museums which embraced individuals that were not seen as “normal,” like giants, people with dwarfism, and bearded ladies. Zendaya will play a member of the showman’s show as well as Zac Efron’s girlfriend. Yes, you read correctly. Zac Efron is also in the film alongside stars Hugh Jackman, Michelle Williams, and Rebecca Ferguson.
The film’s trailer is truly inspiring and the message is nothing less than motivational for everyone that feels they are too different from the status quo. In the trailer, Jackman’s character states, “Every one of us is special and nobody is like anyone else, that’s the point.”
If you are ready for a film that champions being different, then this film is the one for you. Unforutantely, The Greatest Showman will not hit theaters until Christmas Day. So although summer has just offically begun, you’re probably already yearning for the winter so that you can watch this movie.
