2017 BET Awards Recap And Winner List

The BET Awards kicked off on Sunday, June 25 with Bruno Mars’ performance of “Perm,” a single from his 24k Magic album. The show was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles with Leslie Jones as the host. There were over one dozen performers throughout the night, including newcomers Sza, and Roman Gianarthur. Xscape returned from its 18-year hiatus with a thrilling performance of “Understanding.”New Edition also sang a medley of “Telephone Man” and “Can You Stand The Rain” and was later joined by the New Edition child and adult casts to sing “If It Isn’t Love.”
