“Wonder Woman” Shattered Yet Another Box Office Record

From week one when the film, “Wonder Woman” hit theaters, there was no doubt that this movie was going to be unforgettable. This is the first film with a solo superwoman! Not only does the film have a solo female lead, but it’s also directed by a female, Patty Jenkins.

If you need any more of a reason to love this movie, here it is. The film has just become the biggest live-action box office ever by a female director.

The film is currently the third highest-grossing film of the year. The film is just behind, “Beauty and the Beast” at number one, and “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” at second. And while it’s only halfway through the year, the box office is still set to change, and we’re all sure “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” is going to break many records.
