Fifth Harmony Won’t Be Changing Its Name After Camila Cabello’s Departure
It looks like Fifth Harmony is going to stay Fifth Harmony a little while longer.
When Camila Cabello left Fifth Harmony back in December to start her solo career, many fans made nasty jokes about the girl group being renamed “Fourth Harmony.” However, the remaiing members sat down in an interview with MTV News and shared that they never considere changing their name.
“It was obviously a thought, because it was a prevalent thing that there’s four of us, not five,” Lauren Jauregui shared. “Regardless, we were all very united in the fact that we didn’t want to change the name. We felt like within ourselves, no, Fifth Harmony is the name we grew up with and we worked for and it’s our brand, it’s who we are, it’s our entire moments, it’s what we spent five years on.”
Dianh added,”The fans named us Fifth Harmony and now they’re the fifth member.”
That might be the sweetest thing you’ve heard all day.
