Leah Remini’s show, Scientology and the Aftermath, has been nominated by the Television Critics Association!Leah Remini has been more than vocal about her past involvement with the Church of Scientology…she has even committed time and effort into the production of her reality television series, Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath, which focuses on her own personal experiences after having left the Church of Scientology, as well as interviews and extensive research on what happens after one has left the church. Often times, it’s one of those reality shows that has the audience questioning, “Is this real?”

Only one season in, the A&E Network series has already been named cable’s No. 1 unscripted series. And that’s not all. Leah Remini shared on her Instagram page that the show has now been nominated by the Television Critics Association for “Outstanding Achievement in Reality Programming,” competing against other shows like Shark Tank, The Keepers, and The Great British Baking Show. All fantastic nominees, the success is less about the winning and more about the power of sharing one’s story. As Leah Remini shared on Instagram for #MondayMotivation prior to her nomination, “If you do not go after what you want, you’ll never have it.”

It’s inspiring to see the reactions to Leah Remini’s courage in sharing her vulnerable story. Congratulations, and here’s to another season!
