We’re really lovin’ the arches at the end of the rainbow!

As if we needed another reason to love McDonald’s french fries! For the month of June, McDonald’s came out with rainbow-decorated fry boxes to support Pride Month! The boxes will be available at select locations across the country.

The first rainbow fry boxes were available in Washington D.C. from June 9th to June 11th. They are now available in the greater California Bay Area.

The Co-Chair of the McDonald’s PRIDE Network, Cathy Martin, announced, “The rainbow fry boxes are a fun way to show our support of the LGBTQ community using one of McDonald’s most iconic and recognizable items; however, these fry boxes are ‘small potatoes’ in the grand scheme of our commitment to this community. We are proud to honor and celebrate the LGBTQ community, including our employees, customers and beyond, each and every day.”

McDonald’s spokesperson, Kim Knapp, exclaimed, “McDonald’s has always been a company that has supported diversity and inclusion of its employees and extended McDonald’s family. We are proud to create an inclusive culture where everyone feels valued, appreciated, and supported. As an official sponsor of this year’s Pride festivities, we looked for a unique way to bring that celebration into our restaurants.”

Let’s continue to show our support and love for Pride Month like McDonald’s!
