The New Madewell Collection Helps Save Our Beaches

What can be better than getting cute, summer clothes and saving our beaches!

To kick of summer, the popular clothing company, Madewell, has partnered with  the Surfrider Foundation for a five-piece trendy collection. The collection has everything you need for the summer! The line includes everything from $45 tees to $65 sunglasses to $80 tote bags! Check it out here.

The partnership aims to help clean up our beaches and oceans with every purchase made! Madewell will be donating a portion of the collection’s sales to the environmental cause, while also bringing attention to the Surfrider Foundation.

The Surfrider Foundation’s mission is to “champion for policy and fight legal battles for our coasts, bring awareness to the issues facing our ocean, provide critical support on stuff like accounting, technology, and HR, and raise money to make all of this happen.” The foundation’s goals include maximizing the number of accessible beaches available to the public, while also ensuring clean water, costal preservation, and ocean protection.

To launch their new line, the Madewell employees came together on the West and East coasts to spend a day cleaning the local beaches.
